A. Purpose
To enhance a more user-friendly environment for students, faculty, and staff by providing a high quality, digital card system that allows efficient access to all card-related services throughout Odessa College and to seek new and expanded uses of the card through improved, advanced technology.
The Wrangler ID Card is an official Odessa College digital photograph ID card. In addition to identifying the relationship with Odessa College, the digital card provides access to campus events and activities, residence halls/other buildings, and meal plans. Meal plans may only be used via the digital or printed ID card or cash/debit/credit must be used to purchase a meal.

- Expiration of Wrangler ID Card
- Digital ID Cards are valid while cardholder still has an active status with the College.

- OC ID card holders other than Early College High School students can upload their own photograph via the Touchnet 360u app for ID approval
- For ID card photographs Odessa College requires individuals to remove any items not worn as part of their daily appearance (i.e. prescription eyeglasses). The only exceptions are items worn for cultural and religious reasons. All bandannas, hats, sunglasses and/or visors, etc. are to be removed before photograph is taken. The ID card photograph must be an un-obscured full-face front view with head centered facing straight towards the camera including the top of your head and shoulders.
- The photograph must be of the ID card holder only in color with a solid light color background, clear and good quality/no filters or editing of any kind.

The cost of the digital Wrangler ID Card is added into the cost of attendance for all students. This includes the cost of the card software and administrative cost. - Students Printed/Replacement Cards
- A $20 charge will be placed on the student’s college account when a printed ID card is issued, or a printed ID card is replaced.
- Dual Credit students who are enrolled in OC college classes will need to wear/carry their school district issued ID when attending a course on the OC campus unless safety restriction in a course prevent them from doing so.
- Exemptions are as follows:
- Early College High School students/faculty/staff (OCA & OCTECH) will receive one free printed card.
- OC Housing residents will receive one free printed card.
- A $20 charge will be placed on the student’s college account when a printed ID card is issued, or a printed ID card is replaced.
- Faculty/Staff/Others
Faculty/Staff/OC Board Members are entitled to one free printed card. - Free Replacement cards for cardholders

Faculty/Staff, Students, and other college cardholders do not have to surrender their printed cards upon discontinuing their employment/association with Odessa College.
